Volunteer FAQ
Clear answers before you make your plans
The program fee is $250 per week. Cost varies based on the dollar rate. That is what you pay Daakyepa for your hosted volunteer stay.
Your fee includes shared accommodation, meals, airport pickup and drop-off, orientation, local placement coordination, and 24/7 in-country support. It does not include flights, visa, travel insurance, vaccinations, personal spending money, or optional weekend excursions. Any activities, programs, or excursions beyond the scope of the package will be at the cost of the volunteer.

We keep the program fee clear so you can budget the travel extras separately. Any activities, programs, or excursions beyond the scope of the package will be at the cost of the volunteer.
